Great Game!
Living in Cheyenne, Wy. watching the Braves play is something I have not been able to do as regularly as I did in Alabama. I have purchased MLB.tv but regular tv is much better. However, after getting tickets to see them play in Denver against the Rockies in April I was very excited. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, the Thursday game was canceled. I was able to go see them last night and let me tell you it was a great game to go see. The first few innings was a good pitchers duel. The Braves got some good hits off Jimenez but couldn't get anything going until about the fifth. The highlight of the night was in the 7th and Chipper's catch. I was sitting right on the wall left field side and although it wasn't right next to me it was close enough and what a great play. THe other highlight was Jurrjens. He pitched an awesome game and anyone can see why this kid has such a great future for the Braves. He was sitting down the Rockies left and right and whenever he got into trouble he pitched out of it. THe only disappointment was Tex who went 0-5 w/ 4 K's. It wasn't a good night for him. This was probably the best Braves game I have gotten to got to. Just wanted to share my experience with ya'll. Hope the Braves continue their winning on the road and finish up Texas with a sweep. Go Braves!

Good stuff...
...I’d love to check out a game at Coors Field some day.

I've always wondered...
Do they serve Miller Lite in Coors Field, or is it strictly rocky mountain refreshment only? Similarly, does Milwaukee stick to its own, or can it branch out into other beers? It’s an important consideration.

I've been to Miller Park a bunch...
I think they only serve Miller products. I am usually to drunk to care though.

also been to miller
they only serve miller and to speak of bud is grounds for arrest and possibly capital punishemtn… If you do decide visit Miller Park, enjoy a tasty Leinenkugel, its the beer of choice for local Milwaukeeans(?) or check the local supermarket

USING THE CONTRACTION "Y'ALL"
As a frequent user of and advocate for the contraction “y’all,” I must correct your erroneous usage of said contraction. “Y’all” is a contraction that combines the words “you” and “all.” Since the rules of proper grammer mandate placing an apostrophe between the two words being combined, it wouldn’t make sense to write the aforementioned contraction as you did in your status update. Please refrain from using “y’all” as such in the future.
Sorry dude, I am bored at work.

Also
A demerit for missing the perfect opportunity to use an “all y’all”.

My favorite is y'all in the future.
2nd person pl future verbs.
For instance, to Mets’ fans we can say “Y’all’ll get a manager eventually”
When I went to school in Ireland that drove my Greek professor (who was actually from Athens, Greece) crazy.

Surprisingly...
they serve all kinds of beer. That was one of my first thoughts when I got to the stadium. I figured they might serve bud b/c they have a plant about 45 min. up the road. Coor’s is a nice stadium, though not as nice as the Ted and I am trying to not be biased. Coor’s is not as fan friendly and parking not as easy. My opinion though. Hope ya’ll have a good one. :)

defiant?
Was this “ya’ll” a force of habit or a defiant protest to the conformity of grammatical rules pointed out by jamesrael?
I’m also bored at work, just like all y’all.
Go on, ask if anything surprises me.

Glad you've made that decision...
since we’re not in Miller Park and you’re not too drunk to tell me you don’t give two whits about misremembering the proper grammatical use of “to” and “too”...and two (you didn’t use it, but I threw it in there for good measure)...
All y’all’ll get it right sometime. I meybbee two.

That settles it
Coors > Miller. Now if we could only get some Shiner into the stadium…
