They certainly have the money to do so – picks 40, 64, and 70 cost $1.736 million last season and none should take more than slot money to sign, while the Braves spent $3 million on their 1st and 2nd round picks last season. There’s certainly an extra ~$600,000 laying around to convince him to forego his senior year.
