so...

what the hell happened? We steal bases and are patient at the plate making him throw 45 through 2.

Oh you didn't hear?

When the A’s came through we actually stole their patience.

by Perrinbar on May 20, 2008 2:04 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

no

I was in TB territory. I watched a TB-STL game…put me to sleep. Only got to see scores.

by jug on May 20, 2008 2:05 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

That's why you don't run all the time I suppose.

I’m happy to see us taking chances at least, but I hope that doesn’t bite us on the ass.

Escobar's been uncermoniously dumped after hits twice now

Radio feeds

Perrinbar, what station are you using?

by Euruproktos on May 20, 2008 2:06 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

WFIS.

That’s worked all season for me so far.

by Perrinbar on May 20, 2008 2:06 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

yeah

that is what I’m using

by A49erFan77 on May 20, 2008 2:07 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

there is a site that a friend of my uses for sports

http://www.myp2p.eu/

You have to download some software, but you can get some games that way.

by jug on May 20, 2008 2:10 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

oh

it is free, but probably not legal.

Ahhh...

It sucks because

The local station 94.9 (bullatlanta.com) doesn’t do radio feed for make-up games.

by Perrinbar on May 20, 2008 2:09 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Looks like Glavine...

...threw about 20 pitches in the 2nd and 3rd inning. Very nice.

by Smoltz's Beard on May 20, 2008 2:13 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

It's really a thing of beauty

When the old Leo-style of pitching low and away is so consistently visible when you see Glavine’s pitch-trax. So consistently, do all the pitches only get the low and away portion of the K-zone. Nothing ever really erratic, no pitches all over the place.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

by royhobbs on May 20, 2008 2:18 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

The other good part

is how much better that works than the idiotic pitch fastballs inside policy of Stottlemyer which is paying absolutely 0 dividends for Seattle right now.

by WienerDog on May 20, 2008 2:20 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

But not on SS or FSN.

This patience...

Is wonderful. How many pitches has Heap seen today? From the two ABs I was paying attention to alone, he saw 19 pitches. Not including the other two ABs in between.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

10 pitches, 1 pitch, 3 pitches, 8 pitches.

As long as the 1 pitch

Was his prior hit, then we’re kosher.

Alright

That means Heap is the EXACT opposite of Francoeur right now.

What the fuck is going on? I come home from work, I see a quality start from Glavine, a shellhammer job on Maine, and Tex with 3 hits and a higher BA than Frenchy. Is this really happening?

Let's not do anything silly.

Like letting a Met reach a base. We’ve got this in hand.

If we can do this next game, with Campillo pitching, that would be a blessing. Lets get ahead of the Mets by the end of the day!

Chip ain't so bad

But then again I love his Dad. On the rare occasions when he gets TV I make sure to watch. Also who doesn’t love his “Foul ball…and a fan from Cairo Georgia sangs a souvenir..” bit. I mean, how does he know where all these people are from?!

Those two

Have chemistry. Listening them laugh at Heap’s triple, Joe Morgan laughed like Butthead, and well, Boog sometimes has the Beavis hair. But their take on the entire situation made it a whole lot funnier than it was.
