Poll for the girls

A lot of us drunken sore losers have been tossing around the idea of an eventual TC meetup/gameday… I threw out Aug. 2 (3:55 Saturday day game against the Brewers) as a candidate, since there seems to be no other Saturday day games, and who wants to get trashed on a Sunday?

And part of meeting up would be to be total nerds and have some t-shirts to show our solidarity. And since most of the gals here aren’t too savvy on having THE Jamie Kotsay picture on a shirt, I threw out the offer that the gals could choose A picture to represent their favorite Brave, and to put on a shirt.

I’m working on a design for the guys, along the lines of “J. Kotsay #11” on the back, kind of like the promo shirts that you can get at the Ted. nothing too fancy, but humorous for us obsessive Braves fans, perhaps.

SO VOTE CAREFULLY OR YOU JUST MIGHT GET CORKY THE CABLE GUY ON A SHIRT THAT SAYS “MRS. CORKY #WHATEVER HIS NUMBER IS” ON THE BACK.

Sat., Aug. 16 vs.Giants Wives Fundraiser

Each season the Braves Wives roam Turner Field selling baseballs hidden in brown paper bags that have been autographed by their husbands and other Braves players and coaches. Fans may purchase these surprise bags for $40 from gates opening until the end of the third inning.
