The AJC published an article with the first public statements (at least that I've seen) from Jordan Schafer. Nothing particularly interesting, Schafer does NOT admit to using HGH, but he does apologize for his actions. It's hard to believe he'll be reinstated on May 31st.
Since the suspension, he's been playing extended Spring Training with the scrubs and rehabbing kids, hopefully he can return to form ASAP.

Why would he not be re-instated after the suspension is over?
They really don’t have a choice either way though since there is a definite suspension for the infraction and once the time missed is up they have to re-instate him.

Otherwise, we can’t even think about using him in a trade package to get some better pitching!
