It is reported to be a two year deal.  I like this potential signing because it gives us a good backup catcher.  We have lacked that since the days of Estrada and McCann.  Ross gives us a reliable backup who has shown some power with a pretty good OBP.  The two years gives us a gap to develop a young catcher and not rush anyone, as we did with Clint Sammons.  The problem is now that Flowers is gone, who?
