Happy Festivus Braves Fans

I'm pretty sure I know what the Braves want for Christmas, but like them, I don't know how they're going to get it. I've resigned myself to stop trying to put together scenarios where we get this guy or that guy. I'm just going to sit back, expect nothing, and be surprised if something happens.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I'd like to thank all the folks who contribute to the blog and everyone who reads the blog. Talking Chop has grown by leaps and bounds the last couple of months -- beyond anything I thought would happen this fast. Hopefully it's as much fun for you to read as it is for me to write.

ain’t gonna be pretty. I’ll keep book if any of these optimism babies want to man-up. I don’t see .500

Chip and Smoltz (and Bobby) deserve better than this collection of garbage.

"He's getting better, but he's not there yet ..."

I would man up,

if I could. As it is, this optimistic baby will woman-up. How about, if they go over .500, you’ll go away and quit insulting the team I love by calling them garbage. Deal?

Smoltz isn't similar to Eckerlsey. He's better. Much better.
