Braves make offer to Will Ohman
The lefty relievers on the market are going fast, with Damaso Marte and Jeremy Affeldt already signed by other teams.
"It was a strong offer intended to show me that they'd like to have me back," said Ohman.

Judging from his comments
It must of been atleast a decent offer and not a snowball one. Perhaps one like Marte signed with the Yanks, but hopefully like $9 or 10 million.

my guess? 3/12, that should be enough to keep him around. i hope.
Following the Braves...one long hard drink at a time.

Signing Ohman
I like the idea of signing Ohman because either he can make a direct contribution to the Braves winning the NL East or he could be useful at the end of July in a trade. Either way, he ought to have good value….

Best offseason move thusfar
Ohman was solid last year and the Braves know that solid lefty relievers don’t come cheap. I’m glad to see that Ohman thinks it was a strong offer and hopfeully he’ll be back in Atlanta next year.
