Any updates on Smoltzie or Glavine??

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard how rehab has been going for the two old farts on the staff ( that is if we resign them, god I hope we do cant help but love em).

And also is Smoltz looking at returning to the bullpen or wanting to stay in the starting rotation?

Any chance if Tommy wasnt healthy enough to stay in the starting rotation would he consider moving to the pen as a strong lefty mid reliver for us. ( please dont cuss me just a thought, he could be horrible in the pen).

A long while back, Smoltz said he reached the point where he wouldn’t be giving health updates. I don’t have the article, its been several months.

also, its been stated that there is no chance in hell that smoltz will be starting again.

I think Smoltz won’t even be remotely ready to give updates until Spring Training. We may be hearing from Glav by the end of the year. I know many are ready to move on, but I really wouldn’t mind seeing Smoltz, Glavine, and Hampton all back next season.
