From reading around the net, I've seen that the Padre's are willing to part ways with Jake Peavy, while being under contract at a reasonable price till 2012? I know that the brass has said our top prospects are completely off limits, but peavy? really? I think if we did put one of our top prospects as a centerpiece for him, why not? The guy is lights out, he's put up incredible numbers since he broke out and we would have a true number 1 for several years. I know Heyward is suppose to be our guy for the future, but we do have power and speed with our current players/other prospects. What do you guys think?
