Still just the Hawaiian League playing games in Winter League baseball, and after a rough start for Kala Ka'aihue, the big Hawaiian first baseman has found his stride... and some speed. Kala tried to steal four bases during the regular season this year and was unsuccessful on all of them... then along came winter-ball...

- K. Ka'aihue, 2-3, BB, SO, RBI, 2SB - one of the steals was on the back end of a double steal attempt; still, he was running on the tenth pick in this year's draft, Jason Castro
