Post-Season Open Thread: Can the Cubs Win at Home
It's one game, but it's pretty funny. Dumpster didn't have anything last night and the Dodgers (the Dodgers!) scored seven runs.
Here is the playoff roster of former Braves:

P - Jason Marquis (CHC)
P - Greg Maddux (LAD)
P - Octavio Dotel (CHW)
C - Henry Blanco (CHC)
1B - Mark Teixeira (LAA)
IF - Mark DeRosa (CHC)
IF - Willy Aybar (TBR)
SS - Rafael Furcal (LAD)
OF - J.D. Drew (BOS)
OF - Mark Kotsay (BOS)
OF - Gary Matthews (LAA)

I suppose that’s a real loose definition of “played for the Braves,” but it was like the next year after we had him that he burst out (which is why I remember him). By the way, the guy that beat him out for a roster spot… Dewayne Wise, who is also in the post-season this year. (I didn’t check any of the facts on that, just my memory, so I could have my synapses crossed.)
There are some other coaches too: Dave Martinez (Bench, TB), Jeff Cox (3B, CWS, managed Richmond), Gerald Perry (HC, CHC), Joe Torre (Mgr, LAD), Ted Simmons (Bench, Mil), Jimy Williams (Bench, Phi), Milt Thompson (HC, Phi).
And P Dan Wheeler (TB) played for Richmond.
I think in 2001. Maybe 2002. It was right after the first time he played for the Rays. He wasn’t any good; he spent the whole season with Richmond and didn’t come close to deserving a call up. It wasn’t for a few years after that he all of the sudden became a good pitcher. Never liked the guy personally, he’s a real a-hole.
