Yep, he said it ...
Or wrote it actually. From Mark Bowman, Braves beat writer for MLB.com
" During the Arizona Fall League last year, Jordan Schafer legitimized himself as a top pitching prospect".

I realize this is probably a simple oversight, but c'mon ... this guy is supposed to be a professional beat writer. Anybody else have any funny beat writer/blogger gaffes they'd like to share?
I need ten more words to reach the quota.

Bowman's an idiot..
..though I think we’ve all known this for some time now.

It really seems to me like every one of his articles is structured exactly the same. You could give me something he wrote, without an author credited, and I would be able to identify it as his 10 times out of 10. It’s irritating.

Between him and DOB..
…I think we have the worst pair of beat reporters in the league. Wish we had someone like Jim Street or Cory Brock.

Wow! This must be the best fanpost I have ever seen on this site. Nothing excites me more than a good ole discussion on typos!

That's funny
and i’m sorry your sore. But honestly, you just proved my point about your posts. Do you seriously not know the difference between a typo and a MAJOR error. Furthermore, an error by someone who is supposed to know the Braves inside and out.
I feel for you my friend.
