The Atlanta Braves this afternoon received the results of yesterday’s MRI test on Chipper Jones’ right shoulder. The results confirmed that Jones has acute tendinitis in the shoulder and that the overall structure of the shoulder looked normal for a player of Jones’ experience. Braves Lead Orthopedist Dr. Xavier Duralde has prescribed therapy for the shoulder, followed by a strength program.
