braves memorabilia

i just recently started collecting Braves stuff, and was curious as to what other people on this site have.  So far I have an autographed photo of Hank Aaron hitting #715 and for christmas I got a ball signed by maddux, glavine and smoltz, which I think is pretty awesome.  I think next I'd like a bat signed by chipper and andrew, or frenchy and mccann.

Variety
Nice post. I have a variety of Braves memorabilia. Most notably a number of Andruw Jones autos, a Hudson auto'd bat, Cox ball auto, Sid Bream ball auto, McCann Bowman chrome RC auto, Chuck J., K. Johnson, J. Devine, JC Holt, Eddie Perez, Skip Caray, Y. Escobar, J.J. Reyes autographs, and my favorite, however dissapointed minor league game used ball and Bowman Chrome RC Saltalammacchia auto's. I enjoy just collecting Braves things, though tough to get some. Fanfest, and Spring Training and Minor's is best way. Minor's before they become stars is great too. Finally, nice card bigjoe.

nice change of pace
I pretty much collect anything braves.  I have tons of cards (quite a few of them being autographs), posters, plaques, balls, tickets, starting lineups, mcfarlanes, autos, old magazines, etc.

My top five favorite things I have are probably:

  1. 6 pack of coke bottles featuring John Smotlz 1996 Cy Young
  2. Warren Spahan Framed Auto Lithograph
  3. McCann signed bat
  4. 1960 Topps Hank Aaron Card
  5. And my number one isn't worth much except for me it takes me straight back to my youth and I will forever cherish it.  1994 Poster "Four Aces" with Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux, and Avery - this is probably the best poster ever made.
Good change of pace on this diary, especially with the lack of hot stove action.

Poster.
I got such a kick out of that poster when I saw it online last year, that I had to order it.  I still havn't hung it up yet, since I havn't found a nice enough frame to put it in.

There was also another one with Pendelton, Gant, and Justice titled "Bat Attitude".  I've been thinking of ordering it as well.  It's just not nearly as cool though.

"Bat Attitude"
I'm in the same boat with you on this one, I have had my eye on it for quite sometime now, but I just haven't pulled the trigger.  Mainly because I don't have a spot for it on my wall.

Poster
LOVE that poster.  I don't have a ton of Braves collectables outside clothes and hats, but I do have this one.  It still hangs in my old room at my parents' house.

The best thing I own is probably a Chipper autograph on a 1993 Stadium Club.

Although, I just got in the mail today a Braves batting practice hat, and I must say it's pretty sweet.

Media Guides
I started collecting old Braves media guides last year. I like to collect the odd-ball stuff like that which is not usually considered collectible. Of course, I ran into a funding problem for my ebay purchases, so I was forced to halt that collection. Though I may start it up again.

i have alot
of braves auto'd stuff. mostly cards. i have cards auto'd by chipper, maddux, smoltz, glavine, niekro, justice, andruw, giles, furcal, laroche, devine, marte, davies, tony pena jr and some others i cant remember offhand. those are all cards. i have an 8x10 picture of chipper auto'd on this huge marble plaque(sp?). i have a 1958 sports all stars baseball magazine with spahn on the cover (after they won the WS) auto'd by him. i'm only 23, but i got most of this in my teens, havent done anything as of late. thats why there's no mccann and francoeur stuff. and in 8th grade my friend introduced me to chipper jones, he and my friends dad were hunting buddies after his company built chipper a fence at his house.
