Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Open Thread and NAHWAL: Brewers at Braves (9/23)

I had a great time at the game yesterday -- it was a really nice end to my personal game-attending season. Seeing the Devinator get his award for AA Pitcher of the Year, finally get put in the game in an intense situation, and overcome a 3-0 count with the bases loaded . . . well, I was going nuts for him. It was good to see Thor actually come through for us, too. Not a lot at stake, but still a really enjoyable game. Watching Willie and Huddy sing a duet on the Jumbotron didn't hurt, either.

Oh, and here are your Frenchy Fun Facts for the week. Cherish them while you can -- the offseason approaches.

Chase Utley, PHI 3-for-5 .335

Frenchy Fun Facts
I loved seeing the headline "Francoeur displays discipline," because I knew there had to be an asterisk below it somewhere saying "*relatively speaking."  I love Francoeur, but... discipline?  Compared to last year, you bet.  Compared to, well, a lot of other players?  LOL

and
that's about the 504th time this year that they've used that headline, too. WE GET IT. Congrats, Frenchy, but don't assume you've *mastered* plate discipline just because you've improved. Cause that seems like the sort of thing you might do, really.
