Joe Morgan is a moron

Twice within the past week, Joe Morgan on an ESPN chat has said that the Mets have the best lineup. One question last week asked if with the new acquisition of Tex, do the Braves have the best lineup. Joe said no and that there are many teams that have better lineups such as the Twins and the Mets. Then yesterday afternoon, he said that the Mets have the best lineup.

What is this guy smoking?

That's all he can be. He's blinded by media lust for New York teams and being blinded by his own ignorance.

The Mets may vary well win the East this year, and we may miss the playoffs, but from top to bottom, we have a better lineup. We don't have nearly as many hot-and-cold hitters nor is the mean age isn't 70, so there.

this is coming from a guy that said...

middle infield defense is the most important aspect of a team.

O Rly? Gee, I thought it was, ya know, starting pitching, or hitting, or relief pitching, or stuff like that. I think someone needs to come out with a Joe Morgan quote book like the stuff they have for Bush or Dan Quayle.
