Bobby has to take more of the blame

I said earlier that Bobby finally made a great call by sending Wick down, but his latest move cost us another win.  Sending down Devine for Pete (O for), what a bonehead decision.  Ok he might need another bat, so send down Villarreal.  This guy stinks!!  If he's out of options, then let him go.  Maybe Phily will pick him up so we can beat them.
Can you guys tell me if you would rather have Villarreal pitching in the 11 inning tonight or Devine?  It should be not be a hard decision after watching Oscar over the past couple of months.  If I were Bobby, I would call up Stockman and Devine, and send Yates and Oscar packing.  This is getting old!!

dude
I also blame BC for NOT starting Diaz! What more does Diaz have to do to start! Harris is struggling! Diaz has been awesome but yet he sits on the bench! BC is a freakin genius! BC has totally lost it THIS year! I have NEVER complained about him like I have this year! I am tired of him! I appreciate what he has done here for us in the past, but once he leaves I think we MIGHT start WINNING MORE! This year has been a freakin joke!

I hear you...
I like Bobby Cox, always will.  He's been a little slow with moves but I also think he suffers from not having the right ammo.  Remember Rumsfeld's moronic comment "You go to war with the army you have..." I guess it applies with the Braves.  I doubt BC was overwhelmed with enthusiasm at having Oscar V. in last night but who else?  It's the hitters fault, not Oscars.  We have a "potent" offense, allegedly, but all year we are in situations like last night and we simply can't get it done, against crappy competition.  That's not BC's fault. And I'm sure BC not too psyched to have Pete Orr in uniform, just like we aren't.  Again, we are simply a mediocre team right now that needs a lot of help.  We've now lost the two games at the top of our rotation.  Luckily the Mets lost to the Phils and we're still only six out, but now 5 out in the WC.  It's just not much fun right now.

Correct.
Simply, I just want to see Devine get his chance.

The previous Clubhouse Yeah! post by Velcro Vernacular (hilarious, by the way...Wicky: are you gonna eat that?) points it out perfectly.

Yeah, he gave up the big homer, but we are done with that.  But he was our first round draft pick to be our future closer, so let's give him a shot to face major league batters and see what he can do.

Diaz
I couldn't agree more.  Diaz needs to get more ABs!  BC is making me mad this year like never before.  I now dread seeing the night's lineup more than I dread watching the game.
