We still have a chance to salvage a series split in L.A. tonight, and we've got Huddy on the mound. The problem is they've got Penny on the mound. Damn the lateness of the game, this would really be a good one to watch.

It looks like Smoltz might have to be disabled, as he is going to skip his next start and forego the All-Star game. The good news there is that perhaps we will get to see Jo-Jo Reyes sooner than we expected. Smoltz's turn in the rotation comes up on Saturday and so does Jo-Jo's - it's a perfect fit. I wonder if evil-Davies hears the footsteps.

Attendance was 41,052, and with a guess of 41,000 torchy was the closest. I'm going to give him two points since he was the first poster of the thread and that attendance number held up (and was real close) which is a hard thing to do.
