Is Salty really good?

With the current Tex trades swirling the main name comng back is Salty. My question is that if Salty is as good as I read, why is Julio Franco getting more playing time than him? This is an honest question. Is he hurt? Are the Braves holsing him back because he isnt quite ready? Are they saving him from injury to trade?

The Braves dont believe that he is a First Baseman!!! Thats what I think!!! He is the REAL deal!!! I dont think he is hurt!!! He did not look hurt the last time he caught, and that was the other day!!! I dont think think the Braves want him to get hurt!!! Simple as that!!!

yeah..

..he's not hurt and it wouldn't surprise me if they're sitting him pending this trade just in case it happens.

i know why.....

the more breaking balls salty sees at the plate, the more holes jon daniels (texas GM) will see in his swing. thats why he isnt playing lately. though he may start at catcher today.

Salty is not a 1B. He was trying to learn the position on the fly the last few weeks. Salty is only the top catching prospect in all of basball. He has proven he is Major League ready and could step right into your lineup behind the dish. You would be fortunate to get him.
