Game Time: 7:05pm on

Kyle Davies is coming off his best start of the season, here's hoping he can build upon it. Perhaps watching the upstart Anthony Lerew will provide Kyle with the motivation to try and stay in the rotation and in the majors. I do think this start and possibly the next if he gets to make it, will determine if he stays or if he is sent back down.

Another good come from behind (sort of) win yesterday afternoon. It's nice to see us pick Huddy up when he's not at his sharpest. I love it when we can win 4-game series - that's a huge swing.

Yesterday Afternoon's Box Score >>

San Diego 3, Atlanta 5 at Turner Field
San Diego Record: (18-17)
Atlanta Record: (22-12)

Winning pitcher - Tim Hudson (4-1)
Losing pitcher - David Wells (1-2)
SV - Rafael Soriano (5)

NAHWAL Results for Game 35
Attendance was 23,376, and with a guess of 23,765 the point goes to RehabReject.

The picks to click were the middle of the order - Jones, Jones, and Francoeur. Apologies to Kyle Davies - one strikeout verses 9 base runners and trouble in just about every inning where he was helped out of by several double plays is not a "click" in my book. Apologies also to McCann, but 4 LOB including a tough GIDP with the bases loaded, doesn't cut it. Points go to gondeee, mccannfan, jess7, Praetorian42, jjschiller, brndn, BarryFreakinBonds, Euruproktos, MIZIKE74, dbimberg, whunt13, woodywoodsaver, JerBall, and thebeard.

AAB points go to torchy, brndn, BarryFreakinBonds, Euruproktos, MIZIKE74, ejruiz, whunt13, and JerBall (would have gotten two, but with Soriano pitching three night s in a row, this was somewhat predictable). I'm giving away a LOT of AAB points tonight, but I'm going to give two to CaptainRockSxD for his back-to-back prediction - that was better than the rest.

oh?
I don't get one for predicted Andruw would break the homer drought?

Was too specific I guess.

by mhsiegel14 on May 12, 2007 5:13 AM EDT reply actions

Oops
See, you've all got to look over my shoulder and make sure I don't miss anything. Yes, I'll actually give you two points for that, after 8 games that's a pretty good prediction.
