PrintI neglected to mention a sad story from the other day.
On Christmas day, the Braves and the baseball world lost one of its good people when Jim Beauchamp died of leukemia.
Beauchamp served as Bobby Cox's bench coach from 1991-98. He later took on the role of roving Minor League instructor from 1999-2006 before giving way to the deadly illness that eventually took his life.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Beauchamp family.
Jim Beauchamp was just 68 years-old.
