Santana to NY??

According to the story, the Mets have a chance at getting Santana. Any thoughts? I would think that if NY was able to land Santana, they would be the clear favorites in the division next year, if not the league...

The story also mentions the Mets are looking at Haren, Blanton and Willis. Personally, I would think they would be the clear favorites in the division if they got any of the four.

Yanks

I can see the Mets making a run at him, but I would think from a NY PR standpoint the Yankees would never allow this to happen. I think they're focused on Santana right now, and when the Yanks focus on someone, they usually get him (Mussina, Giambi, Gozilla, A-Rod, Damon, etc.).

I wish the Twins would hold onto him. I've always liked their organization (even after what they did to us) and I hate to see them lose their best player right before they open that new ballpark.
