Heading to Atlanta

I'll be heading down to Atlanta on Friday to conduct a few interviews, grab some sound bites, see my pal Jeff Francoeur (I know him from Baseball Digest Daily) and catch the game against the Reds.

Anyone have any interesting questions they'd like me to try to ask?

What the difference?
I'd love to know what Francoeur (as a newbie to the Braves major league team) thinks is so different about the Braves.  What is it that makes them so special?  Is it just the manager or coaching staff?  Is it the ownership?  The veteran leadership?

How is it that the Braves defy expectations do what they do every year.

I know that do well financially, and that helps, but they're no Yankees, yet they continue to win.

What does Jeff think is the difference, based on his experiences?

Francouer at the Park...
I only got to meet with Jeff briefly at the park after batting practice today and didn't really get a chance to ask many questions.

I will tell you though, that there have been a number of times that Jeff has praised manager Bobby Cox and the front office. Jeff grew up near Atlanta and was a die-hard fan. He only wanted to play for the Braves no matter what Peter Gammons says about the Red Sox. There's a feeling among the players, especially this new crop, that they want to carry on a tradition. They actually feel proud to play for the Braves and don't want the string of winning seasons to stop on their watch.

It says a little something about the makeup of these players, doesn't it?
